Lateral Flow antigen testing for coronavirus (COVID-19)

King’s College London is offering two free Lateral Flow antigen tests to all students and staff who do not have coronavirus symptoms (asymptomatic).

The Lateral Flow antigen test involves a simple and painless swab of the throat and the nose which you take yourself. You will be offered two test slots, three days apart because this increases the accuracy of the testing system. You will receive separate confirmation emails for each test appointment you have booked.  Please make a note of your appointments in your diary.

If you have coronavirus symptoms, please do not book a Lateral Flow antigen test and do not come onto campus. Instead please follow the NHS advice to book a test and please fill out the King’s Self-Isolation form so we can support you.

These tests are not valid for air travel. Many airlines require a COVID-19 ‘fit to fly’ certificate for overseas travel which is only available through private providers. You should check ‘fit to fly’ requirements with your airline.

Please note: The personal data collected on the King’s COVID-19 test booking form is for the purpose of arranging a time slot and facilitating your test at King’s. Your data is only used for this purpose and is not shared with anyone outside of King’s with the possible exception of any individuals contracted to work on behalf of King’s. To find out how your personal data will be used when you register for a coronavirus test read the Government’s coronavirus privacy note.
